Anyone can sign up for a trial. If you are already a Cvent Event Management customer, check your account first as you may already have access to the functionality available in the trial.
Access to, and usage of, Cvent services are governed by Cvent’s Terms of Use, available HERE
No. It’s free to sign up for the trial and to build your events. Launching your event is also free as you will only be charged when you capture registrations.
There are no geographic restrictions for trial sign up. The trial supports multiple languages and currencies. However, launching your event using our pay-as-you-go payment option is only available in a number of countries. If you are in a country where pay-as-you-go is not supported, you will only have the option to contact sales to discuss your payment options. Our list of countries supported by pay-as-you-go is ever evolving and if you’re currently a free-trial customer, and your country is not supported by pay-as-you-go, you will be notified by email when it becomes available.
We ask customers to provide their credit card information as a backup in the event that what they’re charging does not cover our fees (registration fee & revenue share).
Credit cards will be charged only when you have a negative balance. For example, if the cost of registration doesn’t cover our fees, such as in the case of a free event, the credit card will be charged.
The billing cycle starts on the day you launch the event. You will receive the funds 10 days after the billing cycle (one month) completes. So, if you launch your event today, your billing date would be a month from today, and remittance will be submitted within 10 business days.
After you build your event and click the “Launch Event” button, you will be presented with your payment options. Our pay-as-you-go payment option consists of a per registration fee, a small percentage of revenue share, and a Cvent Payment Services fee should you decide to use our payment services.
Alternatively, after you’ve completed the Event Build Wizard and exited the initial Site Designer, you’ll be able to see your account information. If you go to Admin à Account à Overview, you’ll see the pricing information listed there.
Yes. However, if you’re already a Cvent Event Management customer, you may want to check your account as you may already have access to the functionality available in the trial.
The trial allows you to use all of the features available in the Professional Edition of Cvent Event Management, including*:
- Intuitive, drag and drop control widgets
- Customized email marketing
- Custom registration paths
- Real-time preview without publishing
- Ability to restore a previously saved website version
- Safeguards to validate changes and prevent mistakes
- Mobile responsive websites
During the trial, you may build as many events as you want. To give you the opportunity to understand your registrants’ experience, you can send a limited number of test invitation emails and/or capture a limited number of test registrations.

You can continue to build and design events for as long as you would like. All events you create remain in your account as long as your account is active. However, if you haven’t logged into your account for 90 consecutive days, we will notify you via email and give you one last chance to continue to use it. If you don’t need the account any longer, we’ll delete your events and all content in your account for security purposes.”

To use the Cvent Professional License with the pay-as-you-go payment option, all you need to do is click “Launch Event”, enter your billing information and your event will become live instantly. You will only pay when people sign up for your event.
